Post-doctoral opportunity in Numerical Ecology

Action 1.1

The University of Nantes and Ifremer seek highly motivated candidates for a postdoctoral fellowship in numerical ecology for twelve months.In this project, the aim is to investigate the role of microalgae in the functioning of intertidal mudflats, especially the spatial aspects of its distribution and its interaction with the local benthic biodiversity. The study site is the Baie of Bourgneuf.

The selected candidate will be based at the Université de Nantes and will work directly with Bruno Cognie and in strong collaboration with Anik Brind'Amour from the Ifremer de Nantes.

Starting date: January 2015 (negociable)

Duration: 1year of funding
